Description
Cerro Catedral is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, with 1,200 skiable hectares and a wide range of service infrastructure. It is open year-round (except during May) and features 27 lift systems — chairlifts, gondolas and surface lifts — with the capacity to transport up to 35,000 people per hour.
Throughout the mountain you will find lodges set on its impressive slopes, with incredible views of Lakes Nahuel Huapi and Gutiérrez, the Andes mountain range, Cerro Tronador and the surrounding peaks.
The route is fully paved: 20 km from downtown Bariloche and 25 km departing from the Llao Llao Hotel.
Lifts for pedestrians: Amancay, Diente de Caballo (with prior connection via Amancay) and Cable Carril. Dining options: La Roca Lodge, via Amancay, and Punta Princesa Lodge, via Diente de Caballo.
It is ideal for discovering one of Bariloche's icons, in winter as much as in summer, enjoying the mountain and its remarkable landscapes.

Are the lifts included?+
No. Chairlift, gondola and cable car rides are paid separately, at the mountain.
Can it be done in summer?+
Yes. The mountain is open year-round except during May. In summer the pedestrian lifts and the lodges operate as well.
What time does it depart?+
From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. year-round. In winter there is also a 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. departure — please enquire in advance.
Is there hotel pick-up?+
Yes, door-to-door up to Km 8 on Bustillo Avenue. If your accommodation is further out, you need to reach the Km 8 intersection.
