Full description
Experience an unforgettable excursion from Bariloche into the heart of the Andean Region, travelling along the iconic National Route 40 South. Over 130 km we skirt impressive landscapes such as Lakes Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo, passing through scenic areas like Pampa del Toro, Cañadón de la Mosca and El Foyel, until reaching El Bolsón, at the foot of Cerro Piltriquitrón, on the 42nd parallel.
During this full-day experience we visit a trout farm and a local production facility where jams, juices and natural preserves are made using regional products. Each stop offers an immersion into the productive culture of the area.
There is also free time to explore El Bolsón's well-known artisan market. With more than 300 stalls, the market offers a unique variety of handicrafts and regional products: ceramics, wool textiles, wooden and leather items, handcrafted metalwork, dried flowers, homemade sweets, organic vegetables and seasonal fruits.
We then continue to Lago Puelo, where we visit the town and its national park. Here we enjoy panoramic views and the serenity that characterises this part of Patagonia.
This excursion combines landscapes, flavours, history and traditions in a privileged natural setting — an ideal opportunity to discover the authentic spirit of Patagonia.
